Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Rojgar Rin Yojana 2023

The Chief Minister Minority Employment Loan Scheme has been started by the Minority Financial Corporation Committee of Bihar. Under this scheme, loans up to ₹ 500000 will be provided to the people of minority community of Bihar to increase employment opportunities.

This scheme was started in the year 2012. From 2012 to 2016, the budget of this scheme was kept at Rs 25 crores. In the year 2016-17, the budget of Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Rojgar Rin Yojana 2023 was increased to Rs 75 crores. After 2017, the budget of this scheme has been increased to Rs 100 crore per year.

Chief Minister Minority Employment Loan Scheme Beneficiaries Selection

As you all know, the Chief Minister’s Minority Employment Loan Scheme has been started to provide financial assistance to the minorities of Bihar. Under this scheme, a loan of up to ₹ 500000 will be provided by the government.

So far 437 applications have been received by the government under this scheme. Out of these applications, the selection process of the beneficiaries has been started. District Minority Welfare Officer cum Assistant Secretary District Selection Committee has informed that a committee has been formed for the selection process.

This committee is doing the work of selection in 2 shifts from 21 December 2020.

All guidelines are being followed to avoid corona infection during the selection process. The first shift is from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and the second shift is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The selection process under this scheme will end by 26 December 2020.

Objective of Minority Employment Loan Scheme

The main objective of this scheme is to provide loan to the needy people of all minority community. So that employment opportunities will be generated in the state. Through this scheme, the economic condition of the people will improve and they will become self-reliant.

Under the Bihar Minority Employment Loan Scheme, first of all the applicant has to get registered. After this, before sanctioning the loan amount to the selected candidates by the selection committee, their support verification report will be obtained by the Commissionerate Incharge.

After this the decision to give loan to them will be taken and their documents will be signed by the commissionerate in-charge. After this process is completed, the loan amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer.

• Rate of interest: A simple interest rate of 5% will be charged on the loan amount after the moratorium period of 3 months.
• EMI: The loan amount will be repaid in 20 equal quarterly installments.
• Discount: If the beneficiary pays the entire loan amount on time, then he will be given a rebate of 0.5 percent in the interest rate.
• Penalty: If the beneficiary does not pay the installment on time then they will have to pay the penalty.
• Post dated cheque: Beneficiary will have to deposit 10 to 20 post dated cheques.

• If the loan is Rs.1 Lakh: If the loan amount is Rs.100000, then the self-guarantee or the guarantee of any person who has or whose parents have the rent receipt and other relevant documents.
• If the loan is more than ₹ 100000: If the loan is more than ₹ 100000, then the guarantors will be government, semi government, banks, income tax payers, Anganwadi workers, teachers, registered madrasas, etc. who have real estate.
