When the Corona crisis was looming in the country, many citizens had become unemployed due to the lockdown load. Then the Government of India had started PM Swanidhi Yojana for the residents of its country, under which the government provides them loan facility without any guarantee to start their own employment. It was started especially for those people who used to support themselves and their families by doing small business, but their business was closed during the Corona period. That means this scheme was started for the street vendors.
Loan amount in PM Swanidhi Yojana
Under PM Swanidhi Yojana, the government gives loan up to Rs 50,000 without any guarantee to the beneficiaries to start employment. But this loan will be given according to the credibility of employment. This means that under this scheme the first loan of Rs 10,000 is given. And when this loan is repaid, then in the second time you can get double the amount i.e. Rs 20 thousand. And when this amount is also repaid, then he becomes eligible to take a loan of Rs 50 thousand. Due to the success of this scheme, the government has decided to continue this scheme further.
