Bihar Fasal Bima Yojana has been started to protect the crops of the farming farmers in Bihar from natural calamities like flood, drought etc. Under this scheme, if there is any damage to the farming of the farmers due to any natural calamity, then financial assistance will be provided to them. Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme, ₹ 7500 per hectare will be provided for the loss of up to 20% in the actual production of the farmers’ crop and if the loss exceeds 20%, ₹ 10000 per hectare will be provided. - Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme 2023, an amount of Rs 7500 per hectare will be provided by the government if there is a loss of up to 20% in the actual yield rate of the crops of the farmers of the state.
- In case of loss of more than 20% in the actual yield rate to the crops of the farmers of Bihar state, an amount of up to Rs.10,000 per hectare will be provided.
