Shramik Annapurna Yojana has been started by the Gujarat government for laborers related to construction work. The responsibility of operating this scheme has been given by the government to Gujarat Shram Yogi Welfare Board. The scheme was started in the year 2017 on 14th of June. Earlier, under this scheme, food was given for ₹ 10, but in the year 2022, ₹ 10 was reduced to ₹ 5 by the Chief Minister. In this way, now under the scheme you will be able to get food by paying ₹5. The food provided under the scheme will include roti, vegetables, pulses, rice, pickles, chilli and jaggery. Apart from this, one sweet thing will also be included in the diet once a week.
