To apply, follow these steps:
- Visit the official site at https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/,
- From the homepage, select “Apply for rooftop solar.”
- On the new page, click “Register Here” and fill in the registration form with your State, District, Electricity Distribution Company, Consumer Number, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Complete the registration by clicking the register button.
- Log in using your Consumer Number & Mobile Number post-registration.
- Fill the application form with all required details and wait for the DISCOM to approve feasibility.
- Post-approval, you can install the plant through an approved vendor.
- Apply for a net meter and submit plant details upon installation.
- Following net meter installation and DISCOM inspection, a commissioning certificate will be issued.
- Submit bank details and a canceled check online to receive your subsidy in less than 30 days.
