The Central Government has tentatively fixed February 28, 2024 as the date of distribution of the 16th installment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It is worth noting that the government has not yet made any official announcement to confirm this date. To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to complete e-KYC. Only those farmers who have successfully completed this process will be able to avail the benefit of this installment. 15th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana

On November 15, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of his visit to Jharkhand, transferred a huge amount of Rs 18,000 crore to the bank accounts of more than eight crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This amount was distributed as the 15th installment, the benefit of which was given to those farmers who had completed their e-KYC process. Before the distribution of the installment, a beneficiary list is published by the government, in which only the farmers included are considered eligible for the benefits under this scheme. Through this initiative, the government has taken a strong step in supporting the agriculture sector, thereby providing financial help to the farmers of the country in their farming and other agriculture related activities.

Information about PM Kisan Yojana 16th installment (Latest Update)

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, an assistance amount of Rs 6,000 is provided every year to the farming community of India. This amount is deposited directly into their bank accounts in three equal installments, every four months, of Rs 2,000.

The government has also recently announced the date of release of the 16th installment, after releasing the 15th installment on November 2024. This scheme is available to every section of farmers in the country, so that they can avail its benefits.

But, to avail the benefit of the scheme, it is mandatory that the farmers have completed their E-KYC and land verification.
