HP B.Ed Counseling Schedule 2023: Himachal Pradesh University is responsible for conducting the counseling process for HP B.Ed admissions. The university, along with various colleges/universities in the state, offers a 2-year B.Ed program. Admission to this program is through an entrance examination and counseling process.

The entrance exam was held on July 1, 2023, and the result was announced on July 14, 2023. After the results, the university’s counseling committee conducts the counseling process. HP University has released the HP B.Ed Counseling Schedule on its official website.

Counseling Schedule 2023

The counseling committee of Himachal Pradesh University conducts centralized counseling based on the eligibility of candidates who appeared for the B.Ed entrance exam. Seats are allocated to candidates based on their preferences filled during the online counseling process. Registration for HP B.Ed counseling has not started yet. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam will need to register for counseling within the specified dates. They should carefully read the counseling guidelines.

Counseling Process

The counseling process for admission includes the following steps:

• Online Registration: The counseling process begins with online registration. Eligible candidates who wish to secure admission in the B.Ed program must register online through the portal. They need to provide their subject preferences and college choices.
• Seat Allocation: Seats will be allocated to candidates based on the online choices filled by them. The allocation will also be done through the official counseling portal. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round should wait for further rounds for any seat upgradation.
• Document Verification and Admission: After allocation, candidates must physically visit the allotted college for document verification and completing the admission process. They should carry all relevant documents with them. Once candidates are admitted to a college, they are not allowed to change colleges or transfer to other private B.Ed. programs. The counseling committee does not entertain any correspondence regarding this matter.

How to Register for HP B.Ed Counseling

Counseling Registration Fee

• Candidates registering for online counseling must pay a counseling fee of ₹500.
• The application fee should be paid online.
• The registration fee is non-refundable.

Documents Required for Counseling

Candidates who will be allotted seats through online counseling must report to the allotted B.Ed college with the following original documents along with a photocopy of each:

• Printout of the online counseling application form.
• Bonafide/Residence Certificate issued by the competent authority.
• Bonafide/Residence Certificate for candidates from other states.
• Claim certificate for candidates under any reserved category issued by the competent authority.
• Class 12th/+2 Certificate/Mark Sheet or equivalent.
• Graduation/Post Graduation Examination Certificate, along with Mark Sheet.
• Character Certificate issued by the Head of the last attended institution.
• B.Ed. Entrance Exam 2023 Admit Card.
• Relevant certificate in case of being a single girl child.
• Any other necessary documents as specified by the counseling authority.
