- Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for the post of Lecturer.
- In Paper I, 50 questions will be asked for 100 marks.
- In the examination, questions will be asked from the subjects General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, General Knowledge of National and International Affairs, Knowledge of Hindi Language, and Knowledge of English Language.
- For each question for which a wrong answer is given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) mark of the marks prescribed for that question will be deducted as penalty.

Important Note:
- Paper I will be only qualifying paper and candidates are required to obtain 35% passing marks in this paper.
- The final order of merit will be determined according to the highest marks obtained in Paper-II.
- The paper will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English, if there is any difference or any other mistake between the English and Hindi version of the question and answer options, the English version will be considered correct and final.
- Any candidate scoring zero or negative marks in Paper-II will not be part of the merit list.
- If any question is left unattempted i.e. no circle is clicked or circled/blackened by the candidate, the same penalty as above will be imposed for that question i.e. one fourth of the marks prescribed for that question. (0.25) marks will be deducted as penalty.
- If two or more candidates have equal marks, the candidate scoring higher marks in Paper-I will be placed above the candidate scoring lower marks.
- If the marks of Paper-I are also equal, then the candidate who is older will be placed above the candidate who is younger in age.
- If the age is also the same then the candidate with higher marks in the essential qualifying examination will be placed above the candidate with lower marks.
