Haryana Government has started Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme, whose full name is Dr. Ambedkar Meritorious Students Revised Scheme. Under this scheme, scholarships are going to be provided by the government every year from 10th class till higher education.

Dr. Ambedkar Meritorious Students Revised Scheme Scholarship Amount

• Under this scheme, if students from urban areas score more than 70% marks in class 10th and students from rural areas score more than 60% marks in class 10th, then they will be given ₹ 8000 as scholarship annually by the government.
• Apart from this, money will also be given to the students studying in the first year of all diploma and certificate courses.
• Students living in urban areas who have passed 12th class with 75% marks and students living in rural areas who have passed 12th class with 75% marks will also be given the benefit of the scheme.
• Students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Backward Class, Vimukt Caste, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Caste and Tapriwas caste will get the benefit of the scheme.
• Students studying Arts in the first year of graduation will get ₹ 9000 annually.
• Similarly, students of commerce, science and all diploma or certificate courses will also get ₹ 9000.
• Students of engineering and other technical courses will get ₹ 11000 annually and students of medical and applied courses will get ₹ 12000 annually as scholarship.
