PAN card is important for us for many reasons, such as opening a new account in the bank, transaction of amount more than Rs 50,000, starting a new job or business, obtaining loan from the bank, etc. Every citizen should have a PAN card. If you have already made a PAN card and now want to download it, the government has provided a special website for this, with the help of which you can easily download your PAN card.
In India, PAN card issuance is mainly done by two agencies, which include NSDL and UTI. Today, we will provide you information on how to download PAN card through NSDL.
Process of Downloading PAN Card through NSDL
If you have generated your PAN card through NSDL and wish to receive it in digital form, follow the following steps.
1. First step of NSDL official website But have to go.
2. On the home page you will get the option of ‘Download e-Pan Card’, click on it.
3. After this, a new screen will open where you will get two options to download the PAN card: ‘Acknowledgment Number’ and ‘Pan Number’.
4. Choose one of these options. If you want to download by PAN number, select the PAN option.
5. Fill your PAN number and date of birth in the respective boxes.
6. Mark the given check box.
7. Fill the captcha code and click on ‘Submit’ button. After this, an OTP will be received on your registered mobile number.
8. Enter the received OTP in the specified box and submit.
9. After this, you will have the option to download a PDF file.
10. If you download within 2 months of PAN card issue, this service will be free. After this period, you will have to pay a fee of ₹16, which can be paid through any online payment mode.
11. Once the payment is successful, you can download your PAN card by clicking on the ‘Download’ button.
By following the same procedure, you can also download the PAN card issued by UTI, but for this you will have to visit the official website of UTI.
