Important Pre-registration Guidelines

If you’re eligible for the Grade ‘A’ Officer position, you can apply online through the official NABARD website or the link provided on this page.

Before submitting your online application, make sure you have scanned copies of the following documents:

• Photograph (Size should be between 20KB to 50KB)
• Signature (Black ink only) (Size should be between 10KB to 20KB)
• Left thumb impression on white paper with blue or black ink
• Handwritten declaration on white paper with black ink (Size should not exceed 100KB)
• The handwritten declaration should be as follows:
  “I, [Candidate’s Name], hereby declare that all the information provided in the application form is correct, true, and valid. Whenever necessary, I will submit supporting documents.”

Points to Remember for NABARD Grade ‘A’ Officer Recruitment

• Submit your application before the specified deadlines; don’t wait until the last day.
• Ensure your eligibility for the applied position.
• Fill in all details in the application form carefully.
• Provide all personal details as mentioned in your documents.
• Once the application is submitted, you cannot make any changes.
• Have a valid mobile number and email ID, as you’ll receive call letters and other information on these.
• Upload documents in the specified format and size; otherwise, you’ll see an error on the screen.
• You’ll receive information about the admit card through email or text.
• After submission, keep a printout of the application form.
• All candidates must download the admit card by providing the required details.

Selection Procedure for NABARD Grade ‘A’ Officer

The selection process for RDBS and Rajbhasha positions involves three phases:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Contains objective-type questions)

Reasoning	20 Marks
English Language	40 Marks
Computer Knowledge	20 Marks
General Awareness	20 Marks
Numerical Ability	20 Marks
Economic & Social Issues (Focus on Rural India)	40 Marks
Agriculture & Rural Development (Focus on Rural India)	40 Marks
Total Marks	200

• The Phase I exam is a qualifying test (screening test).
• Candidates who meet or exceed the NABARD cutoff scores in Phase I will be called for the Main exam.
• The selection ratio for the Main exam is 1:25 of the vacant positions.
• There will be a penalty for wrong answers, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Phase II – Main Examination (Two Papers)

Paper 1:

This paper focuses on General English and contains descriptive questions.

• Duration: 1.5 hours (90 minutes)
• Total Marks: 100

Paper 2:

This paper contains multiple-choice questions on the following subjects:

• RDBS and Rajbhasha positions: General Discipline (Economics and Social Issues, Agriculture and Rural Development focused on Rural India)
• Duration: 1.5 hours (90 minutes) for each paper
• Total Marks: 100 for each paper

The final selection for Grade ‘A’ in RDBS and Rajbhasha will be based on performance in Phase II examination and interview.

Tie-Breaker Situation

In case of a tie, ranking will be based on:

• Higher scores in Phase II
• If Phase II scores are the same, candidates with higher qualifications will be prioritized.
• If qualifications are also the same, candidates with higher scores in their graduation will be given preference.
• In case of further ties, seniority will be considered.

Selection Procedure for P&SS

• Candidates will be shortlisted and then called for an interview.
• The bank reserves the right to increase the minimum experience for limiting the number of candidates called for the interview.

Interview (100 Marks)

The appointment of candidates for P&SS positions will be subject to their fitness declared medically as per the bank’s rules and regulations.
