Introduction to Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Scheme

  • Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu unveiled “Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana”, a scheme designed to provide financial assistance to women aged between 18 to 60 years.
  • Under the scheme, eligible women will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,500, which will be equivalent to an annual outlay of ₹800 crore. The initiative aims to cover more than five lakh women, providing them with the necessary financial support.
